SALT LAKE CITY -- More than 1,000 teens appeared at the school where it all began as talent scouts held auditions for "High School Musical 2." The first movie was filmed at East High School, a love story between a basketball jock and a nerd who upset their school`s social order by auditioning for lead roles in a musical.

HYDE PARK — The town recreation department will sponsor a bus trip April 15 to New York City to see the Broadway musical “Legally Blonde.” The bus will depart from Hackett Hill Park parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Passengers will have time before the 2 p.m. show to shop or sightsee.
